Join JPMorgan Worldwide Securities Services, a division of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., a global leader with $15.2 trillion in assets under custody. We provide innovative custody, fund accounting, administration, and securities services to the world's largest institutional investors and asset managers. In this role, you'll support daily operations for trade settlements, contract comparison, and billing processes in our Agency Lending Department. The ideal candidate should have capital market knowledge, the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and liaise with stakeholders.

Job Summary:

As a Trading Services Associate within the Agency Lending team, you will provide hands-on leadership to the team, manage day-to-day operations, and work towards improving processes and productivity. You will also play a key role in building relationships with diverse groups and senior executives, and fostering an environment where all team members can contribute to their full potential.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Agency Lending Trade Management/Settlements team with hands-on leadership.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Trade Life Cycle and Settlements as an added advantage. Ensure day-to-day operations are managed within key operational parameters.
  • Align priorities with the broader business strategy. Communicate effectively and influence behavior upstream and with partners to improve results.
  • Prioritize tasks and deliver results to achieve business objectives., Identify issues and escalate them as needed.
  • Improve processes and procedures to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients, customers, and stakeholders, Anticipate and promptly address client, customer, and stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate across teams to leverage expertise, products, and services.
  • Deliver solutions aligned with firm priorities to meet client, customer, and stakeholder needs.
  • Drive performance by inspiring each team member to achieve and sustain high performance., Build a high-performing team and enable them to deliver results.
  • Foster an environment where all team members can contribute to their full potential., Coach team members to learn, grow, and achieve their goals.
  • Provide and solicit timely, actionable feedback to help each team member improve and grow, Support and encourage each team member as they pursue their career goals.
  • Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Candidate should possess strong knowledge of Trade Settlements/ Banking Operations/ Custody business preferably in the Securities Servicing space
  • Leadership skills to motivate and bind a team across geographies, Adaptable to change and ability to manage change
  • Relationship building with diverse groups and senior executives
  • Logical & reasoning ability, People management experience, Excellent business writing and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook)
  • Strong control and quality management skills; accuracy and attention to detail is vital, Assertive and self-confident, comfortable when interacting with Senior Management
  • Excellent coaching skills, Good presentation skills
