Traffic Design Engineer

The Opportunity

Consor is currently looking for an EIT for our Denver office. This position will contribute to delivering a wide variety of transportation design projects, including intelligent transportation systems, traffic signals, signing and striping, roadway, and multi-modal design. The candidate must be a highly motivated and talented engineer with a strong interest in transportation projects, and someone who wants to make positive changes to the way people move throughout our communities. Compensation: $62,400 - $85,000 annually

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of design packages for transportation projects.
• Following our quality control process to ensure high caliber work products.

Required Credentials

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Registered as a Licensed Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) preferred.
• 0-5 years of professional transportation engineering experience.
• Knowledgeable in computer aided drafting and design systems. Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills: both oral and written for team collaboration and interpersonal relationships developed with employees and clients.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills.
• A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment supporting our client's overall project goals.
• Time management and the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations.
• Ability to work with others and capacity to learn new skills.
