Trainee Backend Engineer (Java)

N-iX is looking for a Trainee Back-End Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Assist in writing maintainable, high-quality code in a fast-paced development environment.
• Support the research and evaluation of technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate closely with team members and project stakeholders.
• Learn to suggest technical and functional improvements to enhance the product.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Java development or any other backend language.
• Familiarity with the Spring framework (experience with Spring applications is a plus).
• Interest in learning microservice architecture and REST interfaces.
• Good team player with strong communication skills.
• English proficiency (Intermediate or above).

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) or cloud services (AWS).
• A pet project or any non-commercial experience in backend development.
• Completed relevant courses or certifications in backend development.
