Trainee Frontend Engineer (React)

N-iX is looking for a Trainee Front-End Engineer to join our team.

Our customer is the leading school transportation provider in North America, being the owner of more than a half of all yellow school buses in the United States. Every day, the company completes 5 million student journeys, moving more passengers than all U.S. airlines combined and delivers reliable, quality services for 1,100 school districts. 

N-iX has built a successful cooperation with the client delivering a range of complex initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing UI modules for various systems.
• Support the development of core components for 10+ different applications.
• Learn and promote front-end best practices to improve code quality.
• Collaborate with the team to meet business requirements through technical development.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript (JS) or TypeScript (TS).
• Familiarity with React.js or any other front-end framework.
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Willingness to learn about shared component libraries used across multiple teams.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., CloudFront, Amplify) or Node.js.
• A pet project or any non-commercial experience in frontend development.
• Completed relevant courses or certifications in frontend development.
