Trainee, Gaming & Esports

The Overview:

We’re excited to be looking for a Trainee to join our Los Angeles team!

If you are looking to launch your career in the world of Digital Entertainment and Consumer Products, our trainee program may be right for you!  Your role would be to support a cross-section of top-notch gaming, toy/consumer products and consumer tech clients. The team is collaborative, energetic and passionate, and we are seeking a perfect complement to that dynamic.

The Fine Print:

• Monitor press clippings for clients, track media impressions and crafting/maintaining coverage reports and grids
• Collaborate with the team in brainstorming pitch angles
• Handle incoming press requests and research press contacts at media outlets and influencers across social channels
• Ongoing maintenance and updating of media and influencer lists
• Draft, review and edit press materials including pitches, press releases and alerts
• Assist with special events, when applicable
• Ensure press materials are current
• Coordinate media/influencer product seedings and mailers, including handling shipments
• Provide administrative support including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes, and other tasks as needed
• Requires strong organization and writing skills and keen attention to detail

We want to provide you with skills, experience, and a good dose of inspiration. But we also use the program as a training camp of sorts. It’s one of the primary ways we identify talent matches for our regular entry-level full-time roles at R&CPMK.

**Trainee roles are hybrid temporary positions, paid, 40 hours per week, with a 4-month term.

Salary: $17.00/hour 

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
