Trainer - ITIL ( US Market )

Certified as ITIL Master level Trainer within Skillsoft / Global Knowledge your primary role will be to represent Skillsoft ILT whilst delivering high quality education in accordance with vendor-specification, and to the quality standards documented in Skillsoft / Global Knowledge’s quality procedures. 

A trainer will also provide sales support where necessary, keep abreast of technology and industry changes and feedback delegate’s sales leads in a timely fashion. When not on platform delivering trainers will work with sales and product management, providing sales support and customer engagement, respond to all operational, sales and customer requests within allotted time-scale and attend, where necessary vendor TTTs and be prepared to redeliver to all FTE trainers as and when required. 

This role will support our US customers during US working hours.  Fluency in English is essential. 

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS:   

•  To be qualified and authorized to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, 

        ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed. 

• To deliver training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with 

        designated scheduling manager. 

• To deliver training courses to the required quality standards as detailed in Global Knowledge’s 

       quality procedures. 

• To adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew 

       certificates and following the required examination and invigilation guidelines. 

• To pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team teaches are 

       utilized to achieve these plans. 

• To attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques as 

       assessed in team teaches. 

• To be prepared to deliver courses at all Global Knowledge centres and customer sites when 

       required. 

• To keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, 

       distributing information to colleagues where applicable. 

• To provide sales support in the form of delegate leads and customer visits. 
• To respond within given timescales to all operational requests for contact, information and 

       customer enquiries. 

• To manage the classroom and minimise delegate disruption and dissatisfaction. 
• To work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilization meets 

       or exceeds the company requirements. 

• To establish and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all 

      operational team members. 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Demonstrated industry experience. 
• Certified as a ITIL Master level 
• Experience teaching ILFN4 and some specialist courses, for eg: DCS, DITS, HVIT 
• Experience teaching and delivering various Project Management classes in Prince, Agile, and PMI
• Fluency in English is essential for this role
