Trainer -- Salesforce Training Program

Summary: Trainers play a critical role in teaching ~30 learners in virtual Salesforce Administrator training. The commitment is 10 weeks of training, ~8 hours per week. The role is fully remote and virtual. Trainers need to be Certified Salesforce Administrators but do not yet need to be Certified Salesforce Instructors.

Description:

The program is held over 10 weeks, from August 19th - October 29th, 2022. You will shepherd ~30 learners through their Salesforce Administrator learning and, in the final 3 weeks of the program, as they take the Salesforce Administrator certification exam. You will not lead lectures or Trailhead content, which will be led by the Salesforce Trailhead team. 

The role is highly flexible. Trainers must be in class during the first week of programming, but may then mostly determine their own hours for the remainder of the program. Over six weeks in the middle of the program, you will provide ~8 hours per week of individual office hours, guiding learners as they progress in Trailhead. You may set these hours within certain parameters. During the final three weeks of the program, you will host small group sessions on certification best practices using material provided by C1 – and you are welcome to contribute to this as well!

Our mission is to provided a structured, practical, skills-based program in Salesforce in order to prepare them for transition to family-sustaining jobs.

Requirements:

• Trainers must have attained a Salesforce Administrator Certification. (You do not need an instructor certification of any kind, and we welcome new teachers).
• Other Salesforce certification(s) beyond Salesforce Administrator Certification is/are a plus
• Prior teaching experience at any level is a plus
