About the Role:
As a Training and Support Specialist you will play a critical role in our mission by creating clear and concise documentation for our internal and external audiences. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate complex information in a user-friendly manner. If you have a passion for writing and a knack for translating technical jargon into understandable language, then we want you on our team.Â
Qualified Candidates Need:
- This role is currently remote, but you may be required to travel to the Richardson, TX or Las Vegas, NV offices
- Proven work experience as Content Writer, Content Manager, or similar role
- Ability to actively listen to and understand, complex technical information and translate it for non-expert audiences, in a professional manner
- Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills, with experience in technical writing
- Proven understanding of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and eLearning principles, with the ability to adapt training methods to diverse audiences and learning styles
- Self-motivated and enjoy working with minimal supervision in a highly collaborative environment, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels (stakeholders, associates, Subject Matter Experts, Leadership, and various departments)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Able to demonstrate confidence and inspire/motivate others to perform well
- Desire to be ahead of the curve and passion for staying current on the latest training practices and trends. A curious learner and passionate teacher
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required with ability to quickly learn new computer software
- Experience with web-based conferencing such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams, required
- Video editing experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML, a plus
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Translate complex technical information into clear and concise language that is easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure technical accuracy of all documentation
- Assist in the creation and ongoing updates to all training material, outlines, eLearning video content, and other reference material for existing or new software and/or processes. Including, but not limited to –Â
- New hire onboardingÂ
- Company supported software and role specific processesÂ
- New and/or updated software (proprietary and third party)Â
- Customer facing eLearning content
- Contribute to the improvement and standardization of technical writing for all Company processes and procedures
- Proactively identify and address any potential issues or gaps in documentation
- Ensure content enhances overall performance and achieves business objectives
- Assist in providing skills assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training material to ensure they are implemented and meet the objectives of the Company
- Utilize various tools and software to create and publish technical processes in various formats
- Demonstrate flexibility, open mindedness, and versatility in adjusting to changing environments and other requirements as necessary
- Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work
- Provide ongoing support to users and managers, addressing queries and troubleshooting issues
- Collect feedback from trainees and management to continually improve training programs and contribute to the development of training programs for existing or new and updated software rollouts
- Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000/yr
