Training Consultant
Job Description
Ibotta is seeking a Training Consultant to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
We are looking for a Training Consultant to help support the Learning and Development/People Team and our employees. As a Training Consultant, you are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that align with the organization's goals and enhance employee and manager skills and knowledge. You will collaborate with various departments to assess training needs, create tailored programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
- Lead, develop, and motivate our employees throughout the organization to foster an environment of learning and development
- Partner with subject matter experts, department heads, and stakeholders to ensure training programs meet organizational objectives and are aligned with business needs
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms to continuously improve content and delivery
- Update/maintain training manuals and other supporting documentation
- Create and deliver custom training plans to managers and employees, both on-site and virtually/remotely
- Maintain strong organization and presentation skills (ability to conduct presentations to all levels of personnel, including senior leadership)
- Facilitate smooth onboarding of new hires, ensuring they quickly understand company culture, processes, and best practices
- Work closely with LMS providers and partner with external training vendors to optimize Ibotta training
- Participate and assist with other tasks as needed, such as sales demos, software testing, etc.

What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years experience in training and development
- BS/BA in Business, Psychology, Human Resource Management or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing and delivering effective presentations in a variety of formats including in-person, over the phone and online
- Analytical skills to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness
- Familiarity with effective adult learning and development methods
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen
- Experience with online and in-person facilitation
- Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
- Experience with eLearning design software such as Articulate, Captive or Adobe software is a plus

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
- Base compensation range: $74,000 - $96,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
