Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program. Communicates the work objectives, coordinates delivery, manages risks, ensures compliance to standards, and provides end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables. Ensures execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline and cost. Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery - i.e., kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc. Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams. Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables. Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline. Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule. Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders. Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards. Supports resource planning for delivery/execution. Individual Contributor.
The Resource Management team is responsible for resource-related activities supporting the Global Network Services Release and Deployment team. Maintains relationship management with the range of approved providers for new and temporary resourcing needs. Facilitates resource demand activities with the providers as identified by Demand Management team. Provides resourcing, options, and requirements SME for hiring managers. Provide centralized support and facilitation of workforce inquiries, search, fulfillment, and onboarding. Facilitates onboarding requirements and activities for incoming resources according to defined role personas. Defines, produces, maintains, and administers role-specific learning paths, materials, and scoring practices for new and existing resources. Metrics and reporting for prevailing Business Support Management and Senior Leadership.
The Training Curriculum Manager defines the training agenda and curriculum for the Network Release and Deployment team resources. Maintains the centralized reference library (Knowledge Base) of self-administered, role-based training materials for joiners and established resources. Manages engagements and deliverables with training services providers. Devise and administer learning structure, delivery, tracking and scoring process. Identify needs and opportunities for changes and updates, maintain backlog and prioritization of content updates. Coordinate potential material changes with Process, Release Management, and Engineering SMEs. Define/authorize training content updates, changes, etc. Facilitates reviews and approvals of new/updated materials. Work with Process team to ensure approved changes in training materials are aligned with RM and/or Engineer function playbooks and supporting references.
Key to this role is having a sound understanding of training and education strategies, methods and practices for technology delivery and related functions in a highly controlled, secure, and regulated environment. Ability to conceive and deliver a training solution program that drives consistency, compliance, and quality in delivery. An approach to continuous improvement, on-time and under-budget, effective and detailed communications and understanding how the work impacts the firm competing in the marketplace are important.
The Training Curriculum Manager works closely with the Resource Management Lead to ensure robust training, education agenda and learning paths are defined, aligned materials are produced, maintained, and continuously optimized. Additional activities include the timely delivery of Status reports, forecasts, and results in accordance with the documented procedures.
This position requires a strong education and training acumen, organization and coordination methods, detail-focused approach, written, verbal and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to work on their own, successfully, and efficiently work toward team goals and deliverables. Adhere to process, facilitate activities, efforts, and practices that qualify, prepare new team members, and support existing resources. Providing current knowledge, skills and best practices that prepares and maintains a specialized, high-performing workforce that delivers complex network projects in a highly controlled and regulated environment.
