Training Developer

Location: Mac Dill AFB, Tampa FL

Required Clearance: Secret

Certifications: N/A

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information system engineering, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work experience

Required Experience: 5+ Years of combined experience

Description

The successful candidate will Provide training services for all COTS, GOTS, and custom-developed software created, procured or maintained through a Technical Order to both government and non-government personnel to the level of knowledge to effectively use and manage the apps/systems located in either CONUS or OCONUS as requested.

Primary Responsibilities

· Identifies training gaps and creates training materials to fill those gaps

· Creates visual aids (audio, video, simulations, e-learning modules, role plays, games, tests, others), serving as the expert in identifying additional areas and gaps in skill building and level of knowledge

· Facilitates training classes and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities

· Stays abreast of training and development research regarding learning theory, motivation theory, new training media and materials, and training methods and techniques

· Have excellent people communication and teaching skills

· Able to write to the level required to create training plans and modules

Required Qualifications

· Secret

· Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity computer science, information system engineering, or related technical discipline in cybersecurity or information technology, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work experience

· 5+ Years of combined experience

Highly Desired Qualifications/Experience

· Past CENTCOM/SOCOM support experience
