Training Facilitator

Responsibilities:

• Event Management:
  • Coordinate all logistics for in-person training events, including scheduling hotels, flights, conference rooms, and dining arrangements for up to 40 participants.
  • Ensure seamless execution of training event logistics to provide a comfortable and productive learning environment.
• Facilitation:
  • Act as a facilitator during in-person training events, leading portions of the training sessions to engage participants and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
  • Apply facilitation techniques to maintain a positive and interactive learning atmosphere.
• Technology Management:
  • Oversee the technology setup and maintenance for facilitated classroom sessions, ensuring that all necessary equipment and tools are functional and accessible.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during training sessions and ensure a smooth learning experience.
• Learning Management System (LMS):
  • Manage the maintenance of the Learning Management System, including tasks such as adding users, uploading courses, generating reports, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the LMS is up-to-date with relevant training materials.
• Travel:
  • Travel domestically 2 times per month in 2023 to facilitate training events.
  • Travel domestically 1 time per quarter in 2024 for continued training initiatives.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience in a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator, or similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating large groups of people in training environments.
• Hands-on experience in coordinating multiple training events within a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of instructional design theory and its practical application in training.
• Proficiency in using learning management systems and web delivery tools.
• Familiarity with a range of job training methods, both traditional and modern.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related field.

The expected salary range for this role is $65,000 to $90,000. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
