Working under general supervision, the Training Facilitator and Coordinator will support the Technical Learning and Enterprise Learning organization needs by coordinating and facilitating training to develop employees at all levels. This role will work closely and collaboratively with instructional designers, subject matter experts, colleagues, and key stakeholders to produce and facilitate learning assets for classroom and digital instruction. The facilitator will provide high quality training delivery on behalf of the Technical Learning organization. Employees in this position may interact with their leader several times a week to receive guidance and feedback. Most non-routine activities may require their leader's advance approval, but routine decisions within the general scope of the role may be made independently.

Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, taste, or smell. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 - 25 pounds, and occasionally more than 50 pounds with assistance from co-worker and/or mechanic devices. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee will be handling items that may be very hot. Noise level is usually moderate. Must be available to work overtime, nights, weekends, and Holidays.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and present in-person and virtual training programs, including blended learning such as pre-learning, digital learning, experiential, peer-to-peer, and hands-on learning.
- Prepare instructional materials, presentations, handouts, and facilities for learning experiences.
- Plan and conduct highly interactive, creative exercises and experiences for a balanced program of instruction to meet learner needs including varying backgrounds, learning styles and other needs.
- Provide a positive environment and manage group conduct to promote a learner-centric approach that promotes engagement, psychological safety, and active participation by all learners (e.g., technology usage, questioning techniques, story generation).
- Develop new or modify existing content that includes clear objectives and evaluations for all trainings, activities, and projects.
- Maintain class rosters, attendance records, and provides completion certificates for curriculum as required.
- Coordinate operations training schedule to facilitate formalized training for all lines and departments.
- Coordinate and track all relevant work hours and training events for all job-levelling initiatives.
- Proactively looks for ways to enhance learner experience and engagement.
- Actively supports greater use of virtual and other technologies to create greater efficiency and learner access, particularly to more geographically remote business groups.
- Ensures consistent alignment to overall Technical Learning strategy as it relates to facilitation.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of this role.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
- Required - Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience
- Preferred - Focus in manufacturing technologies or training creation/implementation
- Required - Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing
- Required - Proficiency with all MS Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Preferred - Minimum 3 years creating and facilitating training programs
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE)
- Expert ability to develop and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships among team members, stakeholders, and others, including oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in implementing the practices of effective adult education principles - problem solving techniques, discussion leading, effective questioning, and conflict resolution.
- Proficient ability to facilitate including knowledge of external best practices, and emerging trends.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
