Overview 
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering training programs and managing training team and scheduling with a specific focus on our company's products. The Training Manager will oversee a team of trainers, ensuring that training initiatives align with company objectives and meet the needs of customers and stakeholders. They will play a crucial role in enabling our customers to have a deep understanding of our products and can effectively communicate their value and functionality to customers. 
This is a hybrid role (1-2x per week) in our Atlanta, GA office.

Key Responsibilities: 
1. Product Knowledge: 

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's products, including features, functionality, benefits, use cases, and competitive positioning. 
  • Stay up to date with product updates and changes to ensure accurate and current product knowledge. 

2. Team Leadership and Management: 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of trainers, their training delivery schedules 
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities. 

3. Training Delivery: 

  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate customers about the products. 
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, such as presentations, hands-on demonstrations, e-learning modules, and interactive activities. 

4. Training Program Design: 

  • Design and implement training programs/content that effectively convey product knowledge to various target audiences, including employees, sales teams, and customers. 
  • Identify training needs and develop customized training modules to address specific requirements. 

5. Reporting: 

  • Prepare and present regular reports on training program outcomes and team performance to senior management. 

6. Training Materials: 

  • Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, user guides, manuals, videos, and online resources, to support training initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to create and update product documentation, including brochures, spec sheets, and FAQs. 

7. Assessment and Evaluation: 

    • Implement assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs. 
    • Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery methods. 

8. Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with Implementation teams, product managers, sales teams, and customer support to align training programs with product strategies and sales goals. 
  • Foster strong communication between departments to ensure product knowledge is consistently shared and updated. 

Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Education, or Marketing).  
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role, with a focus on product training delivery. 
    • Dental industry background and practice management software knowledge is required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS). 
    • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Proficiency in using training software and tools. 
    • Analytical skills to assess training program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements. 
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
    • Strong organizational and project management skills. 
    • Certification in training and development is a plus.
