About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Training Manager who will be responsible for designing, delivering and managing training programs specifically tailored for the Dayforce HCM system. This role requires expertise in instructional design, project management, and an understanding of Dayforce functionalities to enhance employee skills and knowledge in using Dayforce effectively.
Your Responsibilities
Training Program Development • Refine current design, further develop, and implement a comprehensive training program and materials focused on Dayforce functionality.• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as e-learning, workshops, simulations, and webinars specific to Dayforce.• Continuously assess and update training content to ensure it remains relevant and effective in alignment with Dayforce Updates.
Needs Assessment• Conduct training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and consultations with HR, Managers/Supervisors/End Users regarding Dayforce usage.• Identify skills or knowledge gaps related to Dayforce that need to be addressed within the organization.• Assist in the evaluation of employee training needs and recommend appropriate training solutions to address identified gaps• Develop training plans and refine strategy to address identified needs.• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust content and delivery methods as needed
Instructional Design• Partner with Magna's Learning Management team to create engaging learning activities and course content specifically for Dayforce. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver tailored training programs to specific departments or user groups
Program Implementation • Plan and deliver training sessions and workshops to employees on Dayforce functionalities using a variety of instructional techniques to enhance audience's understanding and proficiency with Dayforce• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Dayforce training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
Who we are looking for
• Strong knowledge of Dayforce functionality and modules including time and attendance, payroll and workforce management• Proven experience designing and delivering effective training programs, preferably related to HRIS systems• Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Training and Development or equivalent relevant experience • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to adapt quickly to new software releases and features
