Forge is based in Columbus, Ohio, in a 200,000 square foot facility known affectionately by team members as, the Hearth. The Hearth, is a custom-designed cGMP facility dedicated to AAV manufacturing and hosts scalable, end-to-end manufacturing services.
About The Role
Forge is looking for a Training Specialist to join our Learning & Development (L&D) team. This role will act as the primary training administrator for our company’s Training Management System (TMS) and will be instrumental in building organization-wide, training content and programs. This is a highly cross-functional role, working with all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset, with a strong ability to research and recommend enhancements which improve learner education, engagement, and retention.
What You’ll Do
- Lead L&D internal departmental audits of processes
- Partner cross-functionally with Compliance/Quality teams to support FDA and Client audits, as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with the development and maintenance of curricula and Individual Training Plans (ITPs)
- Lead in the design and implementation of training material within the TMS, as well as review and maintain training programs to ensure that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective
- Manage training documentation (both physical and electronic) and employee training folders
- Facilitate departmental and organizational GxP-related training sessions
- Develop and manage training flowcharts and operator qualification documents to support training and development initiatives
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in learning and development including experience developing curricula, media, content, and delivery of strategy
- Experience developing and delivering training programs tailored to different learning modalities for all levels throughout the organization
- Familiarity with training management systems (TMS) and e-learning platforms (i.e., Veeva Vault, Articulate, etc.)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Familiar with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
- Strong ability to perform tasks autonomously with a high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to articulate ideas and concepts clearly to all audiences
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interact with employees, trainers, and other stakeholders
