Training Specialist

Notion’s Customer Experience team is looking for a Training Specialist who is passionate about creating effective learning experiences which will help us build a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the design, development, delivery, and analysis of training programs.

This role will work closely with the Quality Assurance, Product Operations, and Global Vendor Operations teams, as well as external vendor partners. This person will report to the Global Training Manager within the Customer Experience organization.

• Drive training excellence across Notion’s vendor partners by setting clear expectations for new training initiatives, driving accountability, and confirming completion and comprehension across the agent population.
• Deeply understand new product launches and create launch readiness training for both internal and external CX teams, owning the development process from analysis to evaluation.
• Partner with subject matter experts and product managers to develop and maintain user-friendly agent-facing processes, scripting, and documentation.
• Support the vendor training team by leading train-the-trainer sessions and providing instructors with observations and feedback.
• Improve, maintain, and update the new hire onboarding curriculum on and ensure content is kept up-to-date.
• Facilitate live sessions for Notion’s internal Customer Experience onboarding.
• Create and share training success reports with relevant stakeholders within Notion.

• 2+ years of relevant experience (e.g. in adult learning development, vendor management, instructional design).
• Strong understanding of adult learning best practices and instructional development models.
• Familiar with contact center operations and driving change across internal and external vendor teams.
• Experience using eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360 preferred), instructor-led development tools (PowerPoint, Google Suite), and a Learning Management System (Docebo, Cornerstone, Absorb, or similar).
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills and a passion for learning and creativity.
• Demonstrated experience using data to influence a training approach, including making content decisions, evaluating success, and implementing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.

• Experience creating media assets with video editing, voice recording, or graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS company.
• Adult learning or eLearning development certifications.
• Experience using Notion as your all-in-one workspace
