Job Description
The Training Specialist is responsible for the development and delivery of scalable training programs to enable Morningstar Wealth Management Solutions' clients to quickly derive value from our Wealth Platform. This position develops, facilitates, and measures the outcomes of training courses and materials in partnership with Product, Marketing, and all client-facing teams.
Job Responsibilities• Partner with Product Subject Matter Experts, Customer Support, Success, and Sales to coordinate and facilitate training sessions for clients, new hires, existing staff, and internal teams.• Partner with Product SMEs and Marketing to create and maintain client-facing resources to empower advisors to use the Wealth Platform and drive adoption of new features and workflows.• Adopt a data-driven, Agile framework to continuously assess needs, plan, execute and measure outcomes.• Work with product managers, project managers, and other subject-matter experts to share release materials to external audiences through the Wealth Platform's Help Center.• Meet regularly with client-facing teams' learning stakeholders for continuous collaboration on enhancements and to evaluate training effectiveness by revising existing training courses, curricula, and materials, as needed.• Conduct assessments to identify the performance, skills, knowledge, and information required for the desired training program.• Review copy for new training content releases, correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors, fact checking content, and ensuring the Morningstar style guide is followed.• Deliver training as needed to internal teams.
Qualifications• Possess a proactive and creative communication approach for new concepts and products, assessing departmental training needs and implementing required coursework within a deadline-oriented environment• Develop training programs from "needs analysis" to "deliverable" stage• Identify new training needs within rapidly changing environment• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines• Perform within a team environment• Present and write effectively• Have outstanding organizational and communication skills• Experienced classroom and online facilitator• Working knowledge of the financial services industry• College degree required
Nice to have• Knowledge of Asana is a plus• Previous experience working in an Advisor office or serving the needs of RIAs• Two or more years of experience in the Investment sector
