JOB DESCRIPTION: Training Specialist
FactSet is a leader in providing research and analytical tools to finance professionals. FactSet offers instant access to accurate financial data and analytics around the world. FactSet clients combine hundreds of databases from industry-leading suppliers into a single powerful information system.
FactSet Fundamentals Team collects financial statements of Public and Private (US only) companies across the continent. The team sources the company filings from various sources like stock exchanges, company websites, and regulatory body & third-party vendors. We extract & analyze the data from financial statement like Balance Sheet, Income Statement & Cash flow statement of the company.
The Training Specialist will lead and supervise instructor-led training for DCOPS Teams on the interpretation, analysis, and collection of company data. TS will facilitate hands-on, virtual and hybrid training using the relevant applications and will work with Operations and other Support teams to promote and encourage communication, standardization of policies and best practices.
FF Reimagine Training team assists employees in learning new skills, developing their knowledge, and stay up to date on the recent requirements needed to perform their jobs. We can keep employees engaged and motivated to learn and ensure that employees retain the knowledge they acquire during training and can apply it effectively in their work. Our core objective is to develop content knowledge and skills of an employee for doing the job.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and implement customized training programs based on the identified training needs, such as instructor-led training, e-learning modules, or blended learning approaches.
- Conduct effective training sessions to new hires and internal resources.
- Determines overall effectiveness of training programs by listening to feedback and making improvements, as necessary.
- Create training materials including manuals and presentations.
- Be involved in maintaining training documentations and guidelines ensuring they are updated and consistent with the existing policies.
- Engage in other training-related activities that enhance Operations processes including new enhancements and best work practices.
- Assists the Training Manager/Lead trainer to carry on day-to-day activities of the team.
- Initiate and participate in corporate quality improvement activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- The graduation stream should be Financial Management and Accounting.
- Prior experience as a trainer or a similar position.
- A background in Fundamentals/Financial data collection and analysis from Financial Statements is preferable.
- High proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS tools.
- Confident at delivering presentations in front of audiences.
- Knowledge of various training methods and approaches.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
