The Training Specialist will be responsible for many aspects of training, including: identifying knowledge gaps, developing training material, delivering analyst training, and evaluating training effectiveness.  He/she will support commercial scale-up by improving analyst proficiency through the development and delivery of professional, high quality, standardized training.

Travel up to 10%.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical training for current and new product or process releases.
  • Document training delivery progress and provide periodic update to training management on efficiency and effectiveness of programs.
  • Use analytical skills to identify effectiveness gaps and develop training plans.
  • Assist in developing processes and tools for improving training development and delivery.
  • Use Learning Management System for development, delivery, analysis, and documentation purposes, as needed.
  • Maintain training and certification records.
  • Contribute to training development for new product versions and assist in roll-out of training to all levels of the production team.
  • Support case processing as the need arises.
  • Provide technical training to other departments as need.


Skills Needed:

  • Strong technical skills such as: ability to navigate anatomy in imaging software, use of 3D models or volume renderings, or create segmentation, is preferred.
  • One or more of the following skills is preferred: Course design, curriculum development, training delivery, and/or root cause analysis.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills needed.
  • Highly motivated to produce high quality work with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Computer proficiency – Microsoft office.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced adaptive environment, self-starter and strong team player is require


Educational Requirements & Work Experience:

  • B.S. in Scientific / Technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in Healthcare or Technical field. 
  • Previous experience in the medical device industry, particularly in training, a plus.
  • Experience with CT or other diagnostic imaging is strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of adult learning theory is preferred.
