Transact Technical + Jboss

Summary of role:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a main role in supporting the Core Technical team across Installation, Deployment and monitoring of JBoss Application servers.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain JBoss application servers in various environments.

• Deployment: Manage the deployment of applications on JBoss servers, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to JBoss servers and applications, providing timely support to development and operations teams.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize JBoss server performance through tuning and configuration adjustments.

• Security: Implement and maintain security best practices for JBoss environments, including SSL/TLS configurations and access controls.

• Monitoring: Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of JBoss servers.

• Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute upgrades and patches for JBoss servers to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest features and security fixes.

Experience and Skills required -

• 10+ years of overall experience with a minimum of 5+ years as Technical consultant overseeing JBoss Application servers related activities
• Proficiency in JBoss EAP (Enterprise Application Platform)
• Strong knowledge of Java EE technologies
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python)
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
