Global Prime Partners (GPP) is a subsidiary of Titan Wealth. GPP is an FCA regulated investment firm that provides:

· Custody services to predominantly discretionary fund managers (DFMs) and independent financial advisors (IFAs)

· Clearing and settlement services mainly on an agency basis for its DFMs and IFAs

· Trade execution services mainly for its DFMs, IFAs and institutional clients

· Utilising the same core infrastructure, GPP also serves a significant number of institutional broker-dealers and institutional investor clients.


We are looking for a Transfer Specialist who can maintain and develop positive, long-term relationships with existing & new clients, whilst maintaining our reputation of providing innovative, quality, and integrated solutions that drive efficiency into every part of the wealth management cycle.

 

The role is permanent and based out of London head office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations to ensure accurate settlement of transfers in/out including equities, funds and collectives
  • Processing dematerialisation and rematerialisation requests
  • Enhance client experience by communicating with clients & custodians to answer queries and resolve issues around transfers in a timely manner
  • Investigating reconciliation differences, both internally and externally with the ability of providing preventative measures moving forward.
  • Understanding the impact that transfers have on CASS6 and CASS7
  • Ability to enhance and streamline processes using innovative strategies
  • Assist with data entry and database maintenance
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure client needs are fulfilled effectively, ie Risk & Compliance, Treasury, Corporate Actions & Reconciliations
  • Knowledge of ticketing software - i.e.: Happy Fox
  • Knowledge of ISA transfers including subscription and APS impacts
  • Managing and reporting on outstanding transfers ensuring each transfer is tracked and managed effectively
  • To understand the impact of international market settlements on transfers
  • Attend regular client meetings to discuss ongoing transfers
  • Reporting and investigating late settlements and assisting with the implementation of future controls
  • Understand the impact and importance of bookcosts.

Role Requirements

  • Good understanding of the Wealth Management Industry
  • Proven experience in a transfers specialist or operational role within the wealth management industry
  • Knowledge in transferring in/out of various products such as GIAs/ISA/SIPPs
  • Maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge in FTs and Funds is crucial
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Teamwork and leadership skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Enhanced excel skills
  • Ad hoc projects
