Transition Team Analyst

Job Purpose:

BTIG seeks a Transition Analyst to join the Prime Brokerage team in New York. The Prime Brokerage Transition Team navigates prospective and existing clients through the account opening and onboarding process. The Team coordinates directly with clients to obtain all required documentation and information needed to transition onto the Prime Brokerage platform. Upon account opening, the Team manages various processes revolving around the client’s anticipated go-live date, including team introductions, the initial build, test and roll out of technology and custodial requests.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate directly with new, existing and prospective Prime Brokerage clients
• Collect appropriate due diligence and “Know Your Customer” information
• Facilitate processes involving various BTIG divisions, including, but not limited to, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Trading and TradeSave
• Work with Clearing Agents and Custodians to ensure internal and external processes and procedures are met on an ongoing basis
• Maintain data and statistics on active Prime Brokerage Clients on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly scale for internal purposes
• Assist Management with any migration, conversion, and onboarding related items as the Prime Brokerage offering expands
• Support Prime Brokerage Operations, Sales, and Relationship Managers with account inquiries in order to keep client files current and up to date

Requirements & Qualifications:

• College graduate or relevant work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Desire to be part of a team
• Self-starter with proven personal examples
• Ability to multitask and prioritize situations 
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional demeanor
• Personable
• Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred but not required

Compensation: 

• BTIG offers competitive compensation and is required by law to include an estimate of the salary range for each role. Salary range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, years of applicable experience, skills, qualifications, licensure and certifications, and other business and organization needs.
• The current base salary range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 per year. Please note that certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as discretionary bonus.
