Transplant Infectious Disease Physician
Job Description
The Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a transplant ID physician to join its clinical faculty as a clinician educator. The hospital is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a city which continues to rank high as one of the most “livable cities” in the United States. This exceptional opportunity will include inpatient/outpatient care on both the transplant ID and general ID services. It will also include teaching of medical students, residents and fellows. The academic rank will be consistent with prior experience. The primary service will be at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and include rotations at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases and have a strong commitment to clinical medicine and education. There are no J1 visa opportunities.
