Position Details

As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are now looking to appoint aย Transport Administrator - Bookingsย to join the team at our Cannon Hill facility in Brisbane.

The role will consist of customer service, booking of customer orders into DCโ€™s and Food Service receivers e.g. GHPL, WW, Costco, Aldi, Bidfood etcโ€ฆ Working through customer queries on current and previous orders and working closely with the Transport Planner, as well as assisting the Transport team on a day-to-day basis.

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Data entry of manual customer orders into TMS

  • Cross checking of orders through EDI into TMS to ensure all orders are showing and correct

  • Using customer booking platforms to book in DC loads in a timely manner

  • Calling/emailing foodservice customers for transport bookings

  • Working through customer queries on daily basis

  • Working closely with Transport Planner for timeslots and bookings

  • Working with other states for interstate orders

  • Sending Transport Partners emails booking for collections to regional areas

  • Working with Warehouse Admin Staff for order, queries, date changes etcโ€ฆ

  • Liaising with Transport Allocator for any missed deliveries to be rescheduled and any missing paperwork for bookings

Your background and experience should ideally include:

  • Experience in a similar role (industry experience is preferable)

  • Good understanding of CoR principles (NHVLR, Mass/Fatigue Management)

  • Strong administration and data entry skills

  • Experience with liaising with customer to assist with issue resolution

  • Impressive verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding customer service, problem solving and influencing skills
  • Proven time management and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Translogix experience preferred
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, WMS, TMS)
