We move over 250 orders a day from +730 suppliers in EAME to over 72 facilities all over the world.

We are looking for a team player that is a wizard with data analysis, has great communication skills, and a transportation background.
Function description
As a Transportation Analyst you will manage the EAME OCEAN Transportation services provided by Caterpillar contracted service providers for the shipment of Caterpillar components overseas.
Identify, investigate, and resolve structural problems with Ocean, Dray, Gateway & Freight forwarder providers.
Act as an escalation point for operational matters to ensure accurate and on-time delivery to facilities, develop initiatives to improve service, lower cost and increase predictability.
Key Job functions include but not limited to:
• Establish good communication & collaboration with the different internal & external partners.
• Leverage your network knowledge to provide (alternative) solutions to drive proper daily execution.
• Seek for improvement initiatives related to network planning and transportation supplier management.
• Use existing reports and alerts to monitor operations and actively address daily/weekly operational challenges.
• Drive performance for ocean shipments and financial benefits. Keep standard work documented. Drive transit time and process improvements.
• Support international project opportunities for Ocean carriers related items pertaining to international transportation.
• Lead Monthly Business reviews with ocean carriers & other transport providers.
• Lead network, routing and modality improvements.
• Engage with Procurement during annual bid process and drive timely implementation.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in supply chain management
Strong: analytical skills and customer focus
Good: Process management, project management, supplier relationship management and results oriented mindset
Fluent in English (French and Dutch are a plus)
