Description

The foundation of this role is a "people person" with travel category management experience and the ability to train, assist, and educate travelers with all travel needs. This person will also demonstrate strategic sourcing knowledge and the ability to work with meeting planners and meeting requestors. The Analyst will source, negotiate, and contract with venues for UKG meetings and event needs.

Responsibilities• Negotiate with and manage vendors, including pricing, contract terms, SLAs • Participate in weekly TMC calls to review operational details and issue escalations• Respond to emails in Travel Inbox with superior customer service focus and follow up• Manage our online booking tool and integrations• Build relationships with travelers and leaders, become the "go-to" for travel and meetings• Analyze data for compliance, spot trends, and make recommendations on improving traveler experience and duty of care• Create presentations and conduct trainings on company policy, online booking tool, traveler best practices, etc. • Manage all aspects of travel reporting, run reports, and create dashboards on a regular basis as well as manage all ad-hoc reporting requests• Partner closely with key internal stakeholders

About You

Basic Qualifications• 1-3 years of related hospitality, corporate travel and/or events experience • Familiarity with the following categories: TMC, air, car, hotel, meetings, events, technology, and online booking tools are a strong plus• Reporting experience - running reports with attention to detail, analysis and basic recommendations - with strong preference on solid Power BI, Excel knowledge

Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and/or Industry Certification (e.g. GTP) preferred• Working knowledge/willingness to learn of strategic sourcing best practices, including RFP and contracting• A self-starter who can independently manage multiple projects and drive savings initiatives with key partners--with minimal involvement from management• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members at all levels of the organization or vendors as needed• Should demonstrate the desire to continually be learning and evolving as well as already possess strong competencies in adaptability, attention to detail and time management
