That's Nice, But What's the Job?

In short, as the Travel and Entertainment Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the corporate travel and entertainment program for the Company. This position will oversee the daily facilitation, booking and reconciliation of all travel and entertainment needs for non-cardholders and groups. In addition, you will manage our existing national travel vendor relationships and bring fresh, new ideas to expand on our current programs.

In long, our Travel and Entertainment Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Collaborating with internal business units and employees to coordinate and reserve corporate travel including but not limited to: flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
  • Ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements are made.
  • Assist with paying for events and team builders.
  • Placing catering orders.
  • Establishing and managing our travel related vendor relationships and corporate travel rates.
  • Working closely with Accounts Payable to compile and approve travel related invoices.
  • Updating and maintaining DriveTime's Travel and Entertainment Policy for annual distribution.
  • Providing customer service to employees at any level to answer travel related inquiries, inform on travel policies and procedures, and assist with issue resolution.
  • Monthly reconciliation of corporate travel card.
  • Generating and maintaining Excel reports as needed.
  • Performing all other projects and one-off assignments as assigned by leadership.

The Specifics.

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to quickly and comfortably learn new systems, tools and processes

Nice to Haves.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, experience with reporting
  • Completed Bachelor's degree
