Travel and Expense Coordinator

Position Purpose:

The Travel and Expense Coordinator will be an integral part of the Finance team and liaise with employees and vendors on international and domestic travel-related arrangements and expense reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and respond to incoming travel requests on behalf of the organization.
• Serve as a general resource and point of contact for travel-related issues; assist employees with travel-related issues or concerns.
• Maintain contact with relevant parties regarding their travel plans to ensure satisfaction with arrangements.
• Liaise proactively with travel vendors and provide authorizations as necessary.
• Research, negotiate, and secure rate with airlines, car rental companies, and hotels, as applicable.
• Monitor & Assist with Travel booking (~200 staff)
• Manage and check expenses related to travel in Concur.
• Review/monitor daily flight arrangements booked by personnel through Concur.
• Promptly handle all travel related inquiries
• Produce travel reports for management as needed.
• Perform special projects and assignments as directed.

Job Requirements/Skills and Experience:

• 2-5 years experience

• Experience with financial and expense systems such as Concur and NetSuite
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Most important Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
