Job Summary:
The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist I provides professional care in the SHVI Invasive Cardiac Pediatric and Peripheral Laboratories in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. The Specialist may be required to work at any SHVI location on a temporary operational need or training basis or semi-permanent assignment.
The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the ages developmental stages and special needs of the patients served.
Responsible for assisting unit efforts in performance excellence growth quality customer service employee engagement and community benefit.
Essential Functions:
Represents the systems core values- caring commitment integrity teamwork safety communication and service recovery.
Supports and contributes to the Patient-Centered Care Philosophy by understanding that every staff member is a Caregiver whose role is to meet the needs of each patient.
Performs care for the comfort and well being of the patient.
Performs and/or assists with treatments therapies and procedures (including scrub assistant monitoring and circulating) under the direction of the physician.
Administers medication under the direct supervision of the physician.
Documents a current clinical picture and records designated information in the patient record.
Pride Health Job ID #3-35527762. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
