- Job Details
- Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
- The Surg Tech is expected to float/assist in General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low.
- Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
- Job Requirements
- BLS required.
- CST preferred but not required.
- Minimum of current or very recent 2 years of Open-Heart experience.
- Schedule Information
- 40 hours/week, five (5) 8-hour shifts (6a - 2:30p).
- Surg Tech will take at least 2-3 days of call per week (dependent on staffing levels at the time).
- Weekend call starts at the time your shift ends on Friday and runs through Monday morning until 7a.
- Possible holiday call rotation depending on how the holidays fall during the assignment.
