- Offers 24/7 emergency care, acute inpatient care, rehabilitation, and long-term care
- Located on Highway 64 between Highlands and Cashiers
- 24 beds for acute care services and 80 beds in the Eckerd Living Center
- Ambulatory services available, including therapy services and primary care practices
- Job Requirements
- Stepdown or progressive care experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix
- Schedule Information
- Every other weekend

- Unit Guidelines/Policies: Will be discussed during orientation

- Day Shift – 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/4 PCTs/1 Unit Secretary
- Night Shift – 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/3 PCTs
- Patient Ratios – 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
- Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ablation.
- Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipment, bladder scanner; EMR - Cerner
- Dress Code: all white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants.
