- Job Details
- Level 1 trauma and Siemenβs experience is required
- Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol
- Delivers patient care under scope of license / training
- Calibrate and verify the operation of all equipment to be used during the work day
- Performs venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of a radiologist
- Attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintains appropriate CEU's in accordance with Massachusetts State Licensure and A.R.R.T. requirements
- May oversee and instruct various personnel and technology students within the department
- Transport and transfer patients using established procedures according to departmental guidelines
- Uses independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative under pressure in a variety of situations when performing patient exams
- Job Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology
- Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license
- Registered or eligible for certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or equivalent is required
- 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses
- Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and / or emotional stress
- Additional Details
- Submit a color photo taken in past 6 mos. No selfies, no filters. Plain Background. Symmetrical headshot, shoulders up, look straight/no tilted head. No eyeglasses.
- Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification, as required for the position. Within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
- N95 - within 365 days to start date and updated annually. No fit testing(initial or updates) can be done onsite at any location.
- A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the World Health Organization (WHO) OR an up-to-date COVID vaccine if a primary series was never received or completed is required. No exemptions or waivers (religious/medical) will be considered.
