- CT Tech position at St Alexius Health Williston Medical Center
- Department: CT Tech
- Common types of imaging/studies performed: Adults and pediatrics, Strokes, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, head injury, kidney stone, CTA.
- High volume of outpatient CTs scheduled M-F 8-5
- Fast paced department with excellent teamwork.
- Job Requirements
- BLS certification required
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) Verification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Verification
- ARRT (R) with CME requirements met for CT or ARRT (CT)
- Schedule Information
- 7a-7p, 7p-7a shifts
- Variable weekend requirements depending on schedule
- Every other holiday requirement
- 3-12 hour shifts for unit/department specific orientation
- Unit Specific Information
- Team scheduling
- Self-scheduling not allowed
- Additional RTO needed upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submissions
- Additional Details
- No clinical involvement
- Will cover x-ray after hours from 2330-0700 unless high volume of CTs
- Utilize a PACS and Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS)
- Philips 128 slice primary, Philips 16 slice backup, and Bracco injectors
- No staff radiologist in-house
- Travelers tend to stay for a year and report positive experiences
