- Job Details
- The Radiologic Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform radiographs as requested by physicians.
- Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.
- Follows radiation safety practices.
- Assumes temporary responsibility for the patient in x-ray.
- Operates portable equipment, operates C-arm, transports patients, uses the hospital computer system and PACS system, and performs clerical tasks.
- Performs services meeting the psycho-social needs of the population being served.
- Must perform CT scan.
