WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Travel Demand Modeler for our Atlanta office.
Your Impact
- Design, estimate and implement Advanced Travel Demand Models
- Deliver model results in written or oral format to clients and peer review panels
- Evaluate transportation policies and/or system alternatives by applying Travel Demand Models
- Implement and run models using TransCAD, Cube, Emme, Visum, Python, Java, etc.
- Summarize and visualize data and develop presentations using Tableau, R, PowerBI, QGIS, etc.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience working as a Travel Demand Modeler.
- Professional communication skils - both written and verbal.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- Knowledge of Travel Demand modeling principles
- Familiarity with proprietary Travel Demand software such as TransCAD, Cube, Emme, Visum
- Proficient in Python and R
