Job Description

Position / Specialty: Echo Tech
Needs Peds experience to take call. Needs to be able to Dobutamine Stress Echos to cover Granger Hospital
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 5x8 (0800-1630)
Weekend REQ: On call weekends: Friday 1500-0600, Saturday work 0700-1200. Then on call until 0600 Monday morning
Is on-call REQ? Every 5th weekend and 1 day during the week
Floating REQ If staffing is needed- may float to Granger Hospital
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
Average Daily Census: Varies between 7-9 a day depending on schedule
Years of experience REQ: 2 years
First-timers accepted: Yes
Locals accepted: No- all travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
RTO Restrictions: Considered per contract
Additional Information: Busy Echo lab with excellent physician support. The Cardiologists do their own reporting freeing up the sonographers to spend more time with the patients.
Specific Requirements: Must be proficient at Adult Echo, Peds Echo, Transesophageal echo, and stress echo. Peds echo includes premature infants - 18 years of age.
Scrubs: Provided by the hospital
