Job Description

Key communication skills to communicate with patients, radiologists, and other care team members.
Able to ease patients' stress and anxiety about procedures.
Extensive knowledge in vascular anatomy and radiation safety.
Understands concept of good body mechanics to help move and transfer patients.
Able to maintain sterile fields and document cases thoroughly and accurately.
Able to solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances under pressure.
Passionate and reliable.
Number of Beds/Cases: 10-15/day
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Port Placements, Lumbar Punctures, Nephrostomy tube placement, Strokes, GI Bleeds, Cerebral angio/coiling, ESI's, myelograms, dialysis catheter placements
Special procedures done on the unit: Stroke, Cerebral angio, GI Bleeds, Neurovascular coiling
Common Medications: steroids, lidocaine, contrast
Common Equipment: c-arms, contrast injectors, ultrasound, Bi-plane unit
3 fulltime Techs
Required/Preferred Skills: Line Management Skills: Preferred: IV Insertion

For roles with a guarantee, Boone Health can call off staff for up to 36 hours in a contract
