- Job Details
- Key communication skills to communicate with patients, radiologists, and other care team members.
- Able to ease patients' stress and anxiety about procedures.
- Extensive knowledge in vascular anatomy and radiation safety.
- Understands concept of good body mechanics to help move and transfer patients.
- Able to maintain sterile fields and document cases thoroughly and accurately.
- Able to solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances under pressure.
- Passionate and reliable.
- Number of Beds/Cases: 10-15/day
- Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Port Placements, Lumbar Punctures, Nephrostomy tube placement, Strokes, GI Bleeds, Cerebral angio/coiling, ESI's, myelograms, dialysis catheter placements
- Special procedures done on the unit: Stroke, Cerebral angio, GI Bleeds, Neurovascular coiling
- Common Medications: steroids, lidocaine, contrast
- Common Equipment: c-arms, contrast injectors, ultrasound, Bi-plane unit
- 3 fulltime Techs
- Required/Preferred Skills: Line Management Skills: Preferred: IV Insertion

- Effective 01.08.2024 - 16 Hours of Unpaid Orientation
- For roles with a guarantee, Boone Health can call off staff for up to 36 hours in a contract
