- Job Details
- The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients.
- Utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures.
- Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care.
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

- Required: ACLS
- Required: BLS
- Required: NRP
- Preferred: STABLE
- Schedule Information
- Day Shift 6a - 6:30p
- Will consider 4 x 12's 48 Guaranteed hours
- Will consider Block Booking as long as it doesn't have to be the same days every week.
- Every other weekend required.
- Unit Specific Information
- Census on the unit varies, may also float to other units as needed to be helping hands, answer lights, take vital signs, etc.
