Travel MRI Technologist - $2,466 per week

Job Description

Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development
Demonstrated venipuncture competency
Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices, procedures, physiology, and human cross-sectional anatomy
Demonstrated competency in computer-based programs as they relate to MR applications
PACS/RIS knowledge
Required Upon Hire: ARRT(R) or ARRT(MRI), or ARRT(Sonography) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or American Registry of MRI Technologists Certification
BLS required
WAS Rad Tech may be required
Pending State License Accepted: Yes
Required within 30 days of start

On-call REQ: Yes 1 Sunday a month (24hr - 6am-6am on Monday) and 1 day a week of call
Open to accommodating block schedule? Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Essential Functions: Prepare, supply and equip exam room to meet the needs of requested examinations
Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as required
Integrates previous imaging studies, laboratory results, patient history and medical records to optimize exam
Operates MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images
