- Job Details
- Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through ER.
- Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.
- Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
- Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Night shift (6:30pm - 7am), varying weekdays/weekends with one week of training on day shift.
- Job Requirements
- Must have current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- PALS, TNCC and/or TNS preferred.
- Schedule Information
- Night shift (6:30pm - 7am), varying weekdays/weekends with one week of training on day shift.
