- Job Details
- L&D nurses needed for Nights at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Northern Nevada.
- Must be able to work LDRP.
- Located in the mountains of north central Nevada.
- Job Requirements
- MUST have LDRP experience.
- Ability to function in L&D, PP, and Sick-Baby Nursery.
- 1 year of experience in true LDRP is acceptable.
- First time travelers are welcome.
- Schedule Information
- 3-12 hour shifts, start time 7-7:30 AM, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Modified Self Schedule; management will try to accommodate scheduling requests.
- Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend (EOW).
- Holiday Requirements: May be asked to participate in Holiday Rotation.
- No call or standby requirement.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit Specific Orientation: 1 day of General orientation and 1-2 shifts on unit with preceptor.
- Additional Details
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (in NV RN cannot place Cytotec without Advanced FHM). STABLE preferred.
- Common diagnoses include low-risk labor, antepartum testing, postpartum couplets, and well nursery.
