- Number of Beds - 40
- Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/4 PCTs/1 Unit Secretary Night Shift – 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/3 PCTs
- Patient Ratios – 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
- Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ablation.
- Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner; EMR - Cerner
- Typical hiring profile: Must have: Stepdown or progressive care experience, Telemetry experience, Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications like nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/L Lasix; etc.
