- Job Requirements
- Required experience: Intermediate/Stepdown Level RN: 1 year of nursing experience required.
- 1st time traveler MUST have EPIC experience.
- Required Certifications: RN, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Required Education: RN; Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Schedule Information
- 6-week schedules.
- Weekend rotation: Travelers could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends.
- No mandatory call time.
- Holiday Expectations: must be RTO request prior to offer.
- Approval of time off: Able to approve 1.5 weeks off - must extend contract to accommodate a full 13-week contract.
- Unit Specific Information
- This is a mixed acuity unit with Intermediate Care and Tele and MedSurg.
- Patient Ratios: RN: PCU 1:4, CNA 1:8.
- Support on the Unit includes a pod structure with 2 RNs and 1 Nurse Aide.
- Charting System: Epic - strongly preferred.

- Audits are done monthly for Pre/Post pain scoring - Must meet 90% compliance with audits.
