- Neuro ICU nursing position at St Josephs Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Facility is a 607 bed, nationally recognized center for quality tertiary care, medical education and research.
- Must have Level 1 Trauma experience and 2 years of ICU experience in a large facility.
- Job Requirements
- 2 years of CORE experience required in specialty being submitted to.
- Level 1 Trauma and Teaching experience required.
- 6 months travel experience required.
- Candidates must pass the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam prior to acceptance.
- Schedule Information
- 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.
- May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift.
- Floating required between all ICU floors and Tele Units.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit size: 32 beds in Neuro ICU.
- Patient ratios: 1:2.
- Common diagnoses include critical care patients with neuro diagnoses.
- Additional Details
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Must have EVD experience.
- Candidates must complete a Day 1 Pass/Fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
