Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,254 per week

Start Dates: 2/24 or 3/10 - Bi-weekly orientation
Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7
Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Midtown (IN – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every third weekend. Every other holiday.

Must have current active compact license
Minimum Experience: Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Skillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs/NGs, ostomy care, remote tele, blood product administration, NIHSS/dysphagia screen, strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed
