We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 3x12-hour night shift in Merced, California. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse with expertise in labor and delivery, providing quality care to mothers and newborns. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns throughout the delivery process. Administer medications and interventions as per physician orders. Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using advanced fetal monitoring techniques. Ensure proper documentation in Cerner for all care provided. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans. Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during the labor process. Assist with postpartum care for mothers and babies. Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Labor and Delivery nursing. Certifications: ACLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP required.
