- The Nursing Resource Team is a hospital-wide float department that serves the ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health service lines.
- Responsible for caring for a wide range of patient populations as a member of the Nursing Resource Team (NRT).
- Promotes optimal health, well-being and safety through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards.
- Job Requirements
- Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program (BSN highly preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, and Behavioral Health/Psych (adult acute, youth acute, addiction recovery).
- Experience with cardiac drips and non-invasive ventilation.
- State of ID (or compact) RN license.
- Schedule Information
- 12-hour shifts 0700-1930 / 1900-0730.
- Schedule dependent upon unit needs.
- Every other weekend required.
- Unit Specific Information
- NRT float RNs and traveler RNs have a consistent schedule and know when they work.
- Floating to other units/departments is required.
- Additional Details
- 3 years' experience in all units listed: ER, ICU, PCU, Med Surg, Behavioral Health (adult and youth), and Addiction Recovery.
- BLS - AHA, ACLS - AHA, NIHSS required.
- Restraint C and MOAB can be completed during orientation.
- EPIC experience preferred.
