- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
- Job Requirements
- Hold an active BLS and CA license.
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in specialty.
- Must have at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: 4 10 hr shifts for PT 7am-5:30pm.
- Weekend Requirement: will work every 3rd weekend.
- Holidays: work into perm staff rotation for all modalities.
- Additional Details
- BLS, COVID Vaccine Required (Certification).
- Unit: Rehab (PT, OT, & Speech).
- EMR: Cerner.
- Charge Nurse: Manager on days available (M-F).
- Nurse Aides: PT aides - usually one on Sun, Mon, Tues, 2 on Wed-Sat.
- Scrub Color: polo style shirt or a button down long sleeve (burgundy in color) that is provided through vendor through hospital staff if wanted, dark (solid) pants, no scrubs allowed.
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: hosp 24/7 yes.
- IV Team: No.
- RT 24/7: Yes.
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes.
- Floating: No floating.
- Floor specific orientation: 8 hours of orientation for all modalities.
- Open to first time travelers.
