- Job Details
- Unit: Stepdown Floating is required
- Top Diagnosis/Procedures: surgical of all types, medicals of all types, neuro patients at times.
- Common Equipment: bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCD's, bipaps, cpaps, optiflows, vapotherms, airvos.
- Vasoactive Drip Titration Required - neosynephrine, amiodarone, cardizem, among a few others
- Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:03 (not guaranteed)
- Required/Preferred Skills: Line Management Skills: Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care, Dialysis Fistula Care/Management, A-Line Management
- Preferred: CVP
- Cardiac Skills: Preferred: Obtain 12 Lead EKG, Sheath Removal, Cardioversion/Defibrillation
- Airway: Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care
- Ortho/MS/Onc: Required: Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac
